Sam Wingate is an artist based in London UK.
He graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2017 with a body of work exploring the shifting position of homosexual men in British society. Through research based practice and drawing, his aim is to offer a window onto often over looked sections of society.
Drawing is core to his practice and he builds on his ten years working as a designer maker in the production of his work.
He is a visiting lecturer at the Cass School of Architecture, Art and Design at London Metropolitan Unversity.
